News Release
I am pleased to share exciting news: Eastern Technology Council and MAC Alliance (formerly Greater Philadelphia Venture Group) have merged. The merger combines two strong organizations that share the common goal of fostering the entrepreneurial culture of our region.
You are now a part of a premier alliance that will positively impact the growth and success of technology and life sciences companies in the region. Whether your company is just starting, in the growth stage, or well established, it will benefit from access to a single strategic hub of key resources, including investors, partners, professional advisors, and peers.
Like any healthy company, Eastern Technology Council has risen to prominence through reflection, revision, and evolution. That continuous improvement process is alive as we move into this next stage. A new name and website for the merged entity will be unveiled in June and it is my great pleasure to continue to serve you as Vice President of Business Development for the new entity. Dean Miller, a partner at Novitas Capital, will be the CEO, and Carolyn Maher, Vice President of Operations, will comprise the executive staff. Jennifer Cohen, Cheryl Jarvis Johnson, and Kim Tuski will round out the organization's team.
All of us who will lead the merged organization are eager to learn how we might help your business grow. A Membership Survey will be conducted within the next couple weeks to help us understand and improve upon our services to Members. We look forward to your insights and feedback.
In this time of renewal and growth, we will be sharing information about new ways you can benefit from your membership. I hope you will become even more involved.
It has been a privilege serving the Members of Eastern Technology Council for the past 20 years and
I look forward to working with you and for you in the months and years ahead.
With Deep Appreciation,
Dianne Strunk
Chief Executive Officer
