CFATC helps put expensive Computer Forensics Examiner training within reach

When you combine the huge amounts of digital data that companies create with the far-reaching connectivity of the Internet you get a powerful human tool and set environment not unlike the Wild West. Sure, there’s gold in them hills, but there are also data rustlers.

To catch those Internet-security-breaching, data-thieving varmints, you need computer forensics skills.

But access to high-quality training in the emerging computer forensics field is often cost prohibitive — especially when you factor in travel expenses and loss of precious work time. Happily, there is a regional non-profit organization working hard to provide training and scholarships that will assist businesses grappling with these challenges.

The Computer Forensics Analysis and Training Center (CFATC) partners with world-class legal professionals, certified computer forensics field experts, and global leaders in application software development to provide computer-forensics job training for incumbent and displaced workers across many businesses and industry sectors.

You can learn all about it from today's Guest Coumnist, Nancy White, Executive Director of CFATC.

CFATC is accepting training scholarships for computer forensics programs from beginner to advanced levels. Employers must complete a scholarship application packet to qualify for a maximum of 75% cost reimbursement.

Program information can be found at www.cfatc.org.
