Virtualization Technology Conference
Each year, the Eastern Technology Council hosts a full-day conference offering workshops, labs and previews on the latest innovations in virtualization technology. The event, geared to IT professionals, also features seminars for C-level executives about the business value of virtualization.
The 2009 Virtualization Technology Conference will be held on June 2 at the Penn State Great Valley campus, 30 E. Swedesford Rd., in Malvern, Pa., from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m..
Attendees will learn about virtualization technology from their peers, vendors and experts in the field, and will have opportunities to network with fellow IT professionals deploying virtualization technology in their organizations.
Virtualization consolidates servers and increases operational efficiency by allowing multiple “virtual” machines with different operating systems to run independently, yet side-by-side, on the same physical machine.
