Spring and Codkind join
imPACT Times Advisory Board
The imPACT Times Advisory Board has two new members: Nicholas U. Spring and Mitchell Codkind.
The Board is made up of leaders from Greater Philadelphia Alliance for Capital and Technologies (PACT) member companies representing a variety of market segments in technology and life sciences. Board members meet periodically to discuss content for upcoming issues of PACT’s signature publication, imPACT Times.
“Input from the Advisory Board ensures that imPACT Times remains a relevant and valuable resource for members,” says Dianne Strunk, PACT Vice President of Business Development.
Codkind is Vice President of Operations at Oracle Corporation within the Primavera software applications line of business. Prior to joining Oracle, he spent over 10 years as the Vice President of Finance and CFO of Primavera Systems, Inc., and played a key role in the sale of Primavera to Oracle and the subsequent integration. Prior to joining Primavera, Codkind spent 11 years with Checkpoint Systems, Inc., where he rose to Vice President, Corporate Controller and Chief Accounting Officer. He is a CPA and holds an MBA degree from Hofstra University.
Spring is President and CEO of Topaz Pharmaceuticals, and has nearly 30 years of pharmaceutical and consumer marketing experience. Prior to founding Topaz, Spring was a senior executive at Merck & Co, leading several divisions for global sales and marketing. Spring earned his BSc with honors in Applied Zoology from Leeds University in the U.K., and a post-graduate Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing. He is a Fellow of the Zoological Society of London. In addition to his role at Topaz, Spring is an adjunct Associate Professor specializing in international pharmaceutical marketing at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia.
