Vendor management is focus of CIO Institute event

Peter Quinn, Director of Vendor Management at SEI Investments, will lead an interactive roundtable discussion at the June 17 CIO Institute event.

Quinn’s discussion will focus on:

The solution value chain — converting critical vendors into business partners
Centralized procurement vs. decentralized vendor management
Need for increased governance of offshore vendors
Data privacy — responding to ever-increasing expectations and regulations
Techniques to uncover, manage and mitigate vendor-related risk.

The event, open only to members of the CIO Institute, includes breakfast, networking and a post-discussion Q&A. It will be held at SEI Investments, 1 Freedom Valley Drive, in Oaks, Pa., from 8 to 10 a.m. (Note: Please use the second entrance when turning off of Cider Mill Road and enter through the reception area where guest parking is available.)
