PACT’s CIO Institute roundtable features Tasty Baking CIO Sept. 2

Senior IT Executives are invited to join Chan Kang, CIO of Tasty Baking for a morning interactive roundtable discussion about mobile mission on September 2 at Tasty Baking in Philadelphia.

With the push toward mobilizing core applications onto devices such as iPads, iPhones and Androids, this topic is front and center for many business executives.

Chan will share his experiences in managing the entire lifecycle of mobile mission-critical applications. Topics will include deciding whether to build the application internally or to use partners; selecting and managing development vendors; requirements specifications; hosting decisions; production release; support; data management; and application modernization.

Chan will speak about Tasty Baking’s experiences — what worked well and what didn’t work so well — and will share the best practices the company has developed in this burgeoning area.

The event begins at 8 a.m., with registration, networking and breakfast. The roundtable discussion and Q&A starts at 8:30 a.m. and continues until 10 a.m.)
